Don't forget, all we hear about the interaction bewtween Morrolan and Verra is from Vlad's view, and we know that he hears what she says differently than the people around him. Who knows, maybe Verra was saying to Morrolan, "Hey, don't worry, love, you'll be fine. This Easterner will get you out of here intact."
