I don't know if this helps, hinders or is irrelevant but I quote from 
500 Years After (which I'm just re-reading which is why I spotted it):

"While on the subject of friends, what of good Tazendra? I was pleased 
to learn that she was able to escape unscathed from the explosion at her 
home. I hope she has learned from this, and will temper her studies with 
care." P.43/44 (in softback version).

Since her house is repaired by the time Aerich contacts her it seems 
unlikely that this is the occasion in question. Of course blowing up 
your house might be a regular occusence for Dzur lords rather than it 
just being Tazandra.
