Precisely.  By saying that, I am telling you that additional work is 
worthwhile, and done for a reason.  If, in the end, I'm wrong, I come off 
like a pretentious twit.  If the only reason for the additional work is 
that I can't be bothered to make things clear, then I come off like an ass.
