Can't say as I have, although these days, I drink so infrequently that I have become rather staid in my choices of beers. If it isn't a nut brown ale, I'm probably not interested. Sam Smith's and Newcastle are my standards. For wines, I definitely prefer an unchilled Merlot or Cabernet. Keep any of those sparkling ones in your cellar. Port is a nice treat after dinner, although it is definitely an occaisional small taste sort of thing. (As an aside, the communion wine my parish has used for many years is a domestic Port. It stands up quite nicely to being watered down a bit.) If we stray into hard stuff, though I definitely am fond of Irish and Scotch whiskies. I once had a single malt that had been purchased as a 25 year-old in the early '70s, survived a house fire shortly thereafter and then sat in the bottle for another 20 years. Casey
