I am not sure we can be certain that the Houses are ever completely
uniform.  Paarfi will sometimes tell us (for example, I think when
telling us of Sethra Lavode in FHYA, he mentions an army composed of
Lyorn and Tiassa (I think)), but when he doesn't, we just don't have
enough information to be certain (although guessing Dragons is
probably the safest bet).  Gaereth, after all, is of House Dzur.

Did your fashion-knowledgeable friends explain the reason you should
avoid long coats?  Can you ask them how fashion might be different for
a 7-foot tall being?
