My reasoning, besides the fact that it was in conjunction with the Lady Tersa of Haynels, was that "Patrick" =(shortened)=> "Pat" =(reversed)=> "Tap" =(prepended to "man")=> "Tapman". And of course, the man is a Prince because he's Steve's patron, as it were.
