Some people prefer not to be CC'd.  I'm personally ambivalent, but
as a general rule only send to the list.

Your email should be the size required to get your point across.  If
that is big, so be it.  Don't impose artifical boundaries.

He has expressed a preference not to be called Mr. Brust, but either
Steve or Steven.  I have chosen to go with Steven, because it is
what you see people who know him and consider him a friend use
(in particular, the *D-Bs).
