Who ever said that choosing Linux was a requirement for them?  I was 
merely stating that Apple was and is contributing in part to the open 
source community.  A far cry from Microsoft, eh?

Also, I find it strange that you think it's somehow morally suspect for 
a company to pick a strategy that lets it continue to survive.
