Rumor has it that a forthcoming novel in the Vladiad is called 
Tiassa...hmmmm. Also, remember that witches can live a long time (viz 
Arra), Great Weapons strive to keep their owners alive, and the 
relationship between reincarnation of the soul and genetics is...odd. 
Vlad could be around for a while. The question is, will his chronicler?
