Aliera has looked at Vlad's genes. She would be aware that Vlad was her brother by blood as well as soul. I really don't think she would be able to resist dropping that info casually into a conversation by now. Definitely not proof, but something that should be considered. The relationship between Vlad and Verra is also much different from that of Aliera and Verra. Personally, I'm certain that Verra is not Vlad's mother because I don't think she would hook up with Vlad's father. Ever.
