If I recall, it was mentioned that his Kin were already taking the honorific of e'Barritt. This statement was made in the Vladiad.. if I recall correctly it was one of Vlad's adventures pre-Cawti.. (Dragon?) Given the Dragaeran concept of time, a couple hundred years would be appropriately termed "recent history," wouldn't it?
