Terribly, terribly trying as....as soon as I proof it, I have to completely ignore the list for fear I might accidently blurt a spoiler without meaning to. I know it seems odd I might accidently blurt anything, but although I tend to have a very good memory, my sense of time is almost non-existant. (Ask Steve) When you are proofing a third draft on one novel, proofing a re-print on another and proofing the paper-back release of a third, it is easy to get mixed up about wwhich is out and which is not. That is why, if I suddenly disappear from the list entirely, you can be assured that I have proofed something new and now don't trust myself in the discussion. S P O I L E R I came to this conclusion some months ago, after proofing Sethra Lavode and in the middle of proofing the paper-back version of PotD when, in response to someone on this list, I *almost* let out that Kana couldn't possibly do that as he was already dead. I deleted it.....then completely ignored the list for a LONG time..
