Given the outcome, it's now clear why Kiera wasn't overly concerned about Vlad "losing" the vial she'd given him for safekeeping. In fact, it seems likely that some sort of foresight gave her the idea to give him the vial in the first place. What do you mean "seems likely". We knew back then that Kiera had expected it to be used - you don't entrust some with something as potentially valuable as god's blood to someone and be unconcerned when it gets "lost". At the time I wondered whether Kiera got it from Sethra or direct from the source. But we knew that someone foretold that Vlad would need it. I still wonder - It could have been an old gift to Sethra, who would be likely to need such a gift - maybe she has a blood bank of such gifts. In that case, having some squirreled away somewhere away from Dzur Mountain could be a good thing. The reason Kiera was unworried about its loss isn't because she predicted its need, but because she already knew how it was used before Vlad told her.
