Apparently the threads of the soul still do exist at least for a time in the MOrganti weapon. Which, of course, leads us to believe that the other GWs were made in similar fashions involving a 'sentient' sacrifice. NO IDEA on Iceflame... though there have been some theories bantered about inthe forum about it possibily being Jenoie technology and Dzur mountain being a spaceship of somesort. __________________________________ I never really cared for the Dzur Mountain/starship theory, (Why does God need a starship?) beings that can transport themselves across dimensional barriers at will don't need such a physically based vehicle. I am inclined to believe it is a Jenoine construct designed to study amorphia, as Dragarea is the only place it is know to exist, according to Sethra. Iceflame is the avatar or focal point for that construct. Hmm, a thought just occurred. Maybe the difference in Morganti weapons is how long they hold the soul of those they consume? A weak one absorbs the soul, and disperses it (or whatever they do with them), a more powerful one holds that soul in itself for a time, and a Great Weapon bonds with a particular soul as part of its creation? The slow destruction of a soul could account for the uncomfortable feeling Vlad experiences in close proximity to Morganti weapons.
