I just saw a show on siafu, or driver ants. They don't have stingers as army ants, but they migrate in numbers of around 20 million as opposed to just a million. They are the only known insect that perceive humans as prey and deaths attributed to them are not uncommon. Death is through asphyxiation and invasion of the lungs. warbi
