HUH?? Well, since you're talking about your native language and you're fully
literate in it, I have to assume you're right, but when I read that I thought
you were confusing the tilde (~) with the acute accent (' or ´, like a / above
the letter; "acento escrito" en espan~ol se me recuerdo). What do you mean
about emphasis? Like underlining in handwritten English?
