Do you want to read a sad story? When I first heard that _Sethra Lavode_ was comming out and that it was the third book of The Viscount of Adrilanka, I kept looking for it. I always found _Paths of the Dead_ and _Lord of Caslte Black_, several copies infact. Then when the book came out in hard copy, I waited for it to come out in paper back so I can buy all three at once. Well, I went to Barnes and Noble Friday night (braved the damn storm) to buy all three. I walk in and browsed the "New in Paperback." Nothing. I move to the "New in Fantasy." Again, nothing. Finally, after the Terry Brooks section, I see eight copies of _Sethra Lavode_. I reach for it, hoping to grab two of the books ahead and coincidently prequals of it, when lo and behold, there are two copies of _Paths of the Dead_ in my hand. I searched the shelf. I looked again and again. My search ended in vain. I asked the customer service desk if they had it. No. _Lord of Castle Black_ was out of stock! My mind flipped with 2 questions: 1) Why did they sell book 1 and 3 and not 2? and 2) Who buys just book 2 and not the other ones? I bought the other 2 anyway just incase this happened again. I have LOCB ordered, but I have to wait 3-7 days for it to come in. Then I have to drive back out there! It's 45mins away! And that is my sad story. Do not cry for me everyone. This story will have a happy ending. -C
