He realized this later, and was all bitter about it, but it turns out that Loftis and Domm were expecting someone, and in comes an Easterner obviously dressed up like a Chreotha. The only person he may have fooled was the Lyorn-like clerk/librarian when trying to get Fyres' daughters' addresses. I don't know how this affects the height theories, though.
