(It apparently works best for the widest variety of newsreaders if you put the URL in angle brackets, like <http://www.freewebs.com/rocknrollpaintgirl/castle%20black.jpg>, but anybody who understand URLs at all can use the ones you posted; they just won't be able to click it as a link in quite as many newsreaders.)
