> Giving Vlad other powers, building his sorcerous > abilities to incredible levels, becoming 'god out of > the machine'? I don't think so. I think the theory is that any great weapon grants its owner access to more raw power then they'd normally have without it. Similar to how that crystal made of amorphia provided Vlad with the power he needed to use elder sorcery against the Jenoine, I think the great weapons are able to store a lot of raw power for their owners to tap into. Vlad also made a few comments that might suggest he's gained a bit more power, such as comments like how he felt like he might start emitting sparks, etc. I doubt Vlad will be a total superman now that he'd got Godslayer with him, but I think it's safe to say that he'll become a lot better at Sorcery then he had been previously. Maybe it will improve his witchcraft too, who knows. Blackwand doesn't seem to help Morrolan with witchcraft other then serving as a familiar, but possibly it will just provide him with a little extra psychic power for his rituals similar to how Daymar helped out with that locating spell.
