Hi,

I am voting with 2) also. I think Vlad is convinced that the
translator came from another world. Vlad either thinks that an unknown
number of people in that other world are listening to his voice or he
knows the translator is going to release Vlad's story in book form on
that other world.

Because of the book Orca, we also know Kiera was convinced. Did Vlad
just have Kiera use the box or did he introduce her to the translator?

We know Paarfi "met" the translator. Five Hundred Years After,
paperback, About the Author, page 548-553. I wonder if the translator
was really in the room or it was just teleconferencing...like through
a window.

Hopefully, we will get to read what convinced Vlad.

On 3) 2) doesn't mean there isn't any time-traveling involved. We
are talking about different worlds. We know time acts differently in
the Paths of the Dead. A time difference might have been what convinced
Vlad.

Or maybe a pretend time difference...Don't worry, Vlad, I am from
millions of years in the future. See look at this shiny box. And this
is called a lighter. And here is when the next eclipse happens...whoops
...wrong book...world.

Bye.
