They're pointy and they eat souls. Mm. I was under the impression that when Vlad visited the East, he did so long before the events of /Phoenix/, which was why I suggested what I did. If you are thinking that Vlad visited after those events, well, that's a different pot of tuber soup. Yet note that Vlad does remove the stone to teleport in /Athyra/, and to do witchcraft. So even if the visit to the East was after /Phoenix/, I think he would have briefly taken off the stone to get out of jail free.
