Could be. Then again, once past childhood, VN will be his own person with 
his own experiences to draw upon.

This may be true for young children--but once a person gets old enough and 
has seen enough of the world to start making up their own minds about 
things, a parent is just one influence among many. And having a parent who 
supports a particular view is *not* necessarily a point in favor for 
supporting that view yourself. Adolescents can be rebellious young tikes. 
Especially one whose father is Vlad, and whose mother is Cawti...

You also might want to consider the possibility that VN may not think 
Cawti is a very good parent. (Or will, once he grows up.)
