Hmm... just thinking about the possibilities of hiding a dagger (which Pathfinder is) inside a sword[1], I'd suggest either the blade itself was hollowed out[2] and the entire dagger slipped inside[3] or just do the hollowing and slide the dagger in such that the dagger's hilt might become the sword's hilt. That is if the dagger had a handle that could function as such. However, the really interesting question is, how was the dagger hidden in the sword in such a way that striking another GW against it was the best way to free it? I'd think that if Baritt was able to remove the hilt of the sword and reattach it, that Aliera would be able to remove the hilt as well and remove Pathfinder.[4] Perhaps Pathfinder was able to somehow hold the hilt on tighter this time so that you had to destroy the sword to get Pathfinder out. [1] A great sword IIRC [2] I imagine a GW could chip away at a MW. [3] Remove hilt, insert dagger, reattach hilt. [4] I'm AFB, but seem to recall Aliera getting the sword in question >from StY so that she could do this, so she should have complete access to the sword and not have to free Pathfinder while the sword was in someone else's posession.
