Are you claiming that Tortalik as not (somewhat) decadent, and that Zerika is perpetuating this? From what we see so far, except for a taste for Easterners, most Dragaerans seem to regard Zerika pretty darned good. And for all of Tortaliks degeneracy, he seemed at most eccentric to me. Does anyone know who Tortaliks predecessor was? If not a Phoenix, does that mean both the ascending Phoenix and the decadent Phoenix can be the same person? We already know who the next non-Phoenix emperor will be. I suppose it's possible that Zerika's taste for Easterners will get her in trouble. If not, there's going to be somebody pretty ugly who'll follow between her and the first Dragon emperor of the next Cycle.
