Monty Haul Syndrome?

And, if you extrapolate that each GW finds the proper person to wield it,
that would make it an assassin's weapon.. not a townslayer like Blackwand.

Vlad is protected... and possibly immortal if GS does for him as Pathfinder
has.. but he's not immune. And, if *I* were the Demon.. once I found out
he's immune to direct attacks, Noish-pa, Loiosh, Rocza and Cawti..among
others.. would become the new targets. They DON'T have GW's and the best
way to punish Vlad is to make him live with the knowledge that his beloveds
are gone..

Twice - once by the Jhereg.

I'm on record as worrying about this (see "Issola, Dragon, J Whedon, and
Chandler's The Long Goodbye" when the Dragaera search is updated) but I
agree with the argument that Vlad's hostages to fortune will allow
sufficient complications and danger; and _Orca_ shows that there are
Vladiadian modes available for future installments without excessive
violence. For that matter, much of _Taltos_ and _Jhereg_ would work as
is with a GWed Vlad.
