If I'm the Demon, my strategy for dealing with Vlad and LT is to leave him alone. I don't see that putting down a squealer is worth mixing it up with someone who has a Great Weapon, or worse, inspiring a white-hot rage of vengeance in someone who has a Great Weapon. After all, going to the Empire is a big deal, but it's not a real threat to the Organization. People go to Empire all the time, and it's an inconvenience: Someone takes the fall, other people change names or occupations, and certain businesses move elsewhere, but life goes on. It's not like stealing from the Jhereg Council, where even if the guy has a Great Weapon (and a million-man army, four hundred sorcerors, and a Howitzer), he still has to be taken down or the Organization is crippled irreparably. I wouldn't tell Vlad that he's being left alone--let him think the Jhereg are on his trail, so maybe he'll stay away. BUt I don't see the need to go mixing it up with him and LT. -Dennis
